External Devices Control

The "Run Test" page has several tools to control the software of the
different external devices utilized for carrying out test such, as Brake
Feeder and Actuator tests.
These instruments can be opened, closed, sized, and moved as needed
using the Window type commands or by using the "Window" menu enabled
only when in the "Run Test" page.

BRAKE FEEDER

The image shows the "Brake" window allowing the complete interfacing of the
Brake Feeder with regard to:

1. Reference set
2. Type of operation
3. Functions command

VARIAC

The image shows the "Variac" window which directly commands
the external voltage converter. With a simple movement, you can
enter the desired voltage for the test.  If the voltage value is specified
in the "Rating Parameters" Setting page on entering the the "Run Test"
page, the Variac automatically switches to the desired voltage.

V.I.W

The image shows the "VIW" window, which directly commands the
external system for reading voltages, currents and powers.
Here, you will have the following options:

• FS Voltage: this window allows you to select the full scale of the voltage

channels in:
Manual: by selecting the full scale desired directly
Automatic: by activating the applicable function

• FS Current: this window allows you to select the full scale of the

current channels in:
Manual: by selecting the full scale desired directly
Automatic: by activating the applicable function

CAPACITORS

This instrument directly controls the bank of eight capacitors included
with the standard supply and is automatically displayed when performing
tests on single-phase motors. This window allows you to enter, in manual
or automatic, the value of the capacitor desired and to modify the one
previously entered in the "Rating Parameters" page.

RESISTANCES

This instrument directly controls the external Resistance Meter and is
automatically displayed when the "Warm-up test". It also allows you
to enter the Full Scale of the resistences  in manual or automatic.

GRAPH

This instrument displays in real time, the progress of several pre-defined parameters
during a test of a motor. All configuration parameters must be entered in the
"Viewer" window.
This window can be sized, moved, or closed as needed.
